AFRU Gallery presents First of May: A Circus Themed Group Art Show!  May 2, 6pm to Midnight. This will be an evening not to be missed! AFRU will be brimming with talent. No where else in Portland will you be able to see such wonderful acts with free admission, so please join us and celebrate the Art of the Circus!! Circus art! Jugglers, contortionists, and aerialists from the Wanderlust Circus and AWOL Dance Collective. With musical accompaniment and performance by the legendary Professor Gall!!

Sylvia Mann

"The Mann" a.k.a. Sylvia Mann is an artist, writer, and creator of the Eye Bot and Snail Cat comics series. She is a Portland native with a B.A. in fine and applied arts from the University of Oregon. Other accomplishments include completion of the Graduate Jeweler program at the Revere Academy (San Francisco), and continuing education courses from both PNCA and PCC. Study at these institutions included: ceramics, photography, weaving, welding, metalsmithing, jewelry, painting, and drawing.
